Inks are the main faction colors in Lorcana trading card game, the Inks are all colored in different ways and are named based on minerals (Gems):

Note that while playing Lorcana No individual ink is being “good or evil ”, both hero cards and villain cards can be found in all six ink types. Which means you will see characters designated to one or more colors in different forms.
Every Lorcana Ink Type
There are 6 different ink types you can choose to play in the Lorcana card game. Each colored ink represents a different playstyle and we are going to go over each and every one of them.
You can use Ink colors to plan specific deck archetypes and test your favorite style with time.

Amber
Amber Ink cards play together pretty well, some of their abilities will get better as the game progresses and though each individual card is not going to win you the game, together they will combine forces to make a surprising twist to the game.
Amethyst
Amethyst Ink cards excelling in magic play, abilities that help you get the upper hand in the game, and even more magical items that work together to combine into an unexpected kind of playstyle.
Emerald
Emerald Ink cards are good for flexible playstyle, every game is different and they can shift according to the situation, they will rely more on abilities and they seem to have more of an action and reaction type of playstyle over other ink types.
Ruby
Ruby Ink cards are what you call head on playstyle, with rapid strikes and in your face attitude, they are good for play as individual cards and work well to banish other cards from the game, the evasive cards are also part of their main playstyle.
Sapphire
Sapphire Ink cards are all about strategy, the playstyle may require a little bit more planning and preparation as a whole deck to get the upper hand, they are not going to be the strongest in terms of stats but well experienced players will find them the most fun to execute against others.
Steel
Steel Ink cards are great if you are all into combat and challenging other cards, they are very strong in controlling the power on the field and can be used to get control over the battlefield against other cards.
Will There Be More Lorcana Ink Types In The Future?
From our expertise in card games, adding additional faction, color, or so can be a bit tricky, it is important to test and verify with every addition the game is in check and above all balanced between all ink types.
If the game gets to a point where it’s a bit boring, a new color will definitely shake things up and make things fresh again.
