How the Boost Mechanic Works
“Boost” is a term used for abilities that temporarily increase a character’s Strength or Willpower during a turn.
1. Types of Boosts
- Strength Boosts: Help you banish larger opposing characters during a challenge.
- Willpower Boosts: Allow your character to survive a challenge they would normally lose.
2. Timing and Duration
Most boosts are triggered by an action, an item, or another character’s ability. Unless the card says permanently, the boost usually lasts only until the end of the current turn.
