Disney Lorcana Pull Rates

This is the ultimate, guide to Disney Lorcana pull rates. We’re stripping away the technical jargon to give you the real numbers on what’s inside a pack, how things have changed from the first set to the newest 2026 releases, and how to spot a “God Pack.”

Lorcana Pull Rates

The Basics: How a Pack is Built

Every Lorcana booster pack follows a strict 12-card recipe. No matter if you’re ripping a pack from the very first set or the newest expansion, the slots always work like this:

  • The 6 Commons: The first 6 cards are the foundation of your collection.
  • The 3 Uncommons: These sit right behind the commons.
  • The 2 “Rare+” Slots: This is where the magic starts. These two cards are at least Rare. They can “upgrade” into Super Rare, Epic, or Legendary.
  • The Foil Slot: The 12th card is always shiny. This card is a total wildcard—it can be anything from a Common to a massive “Enchanted” or “Iconic” hit.

The Rarity Tiers & Pull Rates

Lorcana started with six rarities, but as the game grew into 2025 and 2026, Ravensburger added more ways to find rare “bling” for your collection. Below you will find a breakdown of every possible rarity and it’s pull rates:

Set-by-Set Comparison: How the Odds Evolved

The Classic Era (Sets 1–4)

  • Sets: The First Chapter, Rise of the Floodborn, Into the Inklands, Ursula’s Return.
  • The Math: These sets established the gold standard: 4 to 5 Legendaries per box. Enchanteds were strictly 1 per 96 packs (one per sealed case of 4 boxes).
  • The Vibe: Simple and clean. You knew exactly what you were getting. If you opened a box and didn’t get 4 Legendaries, you were having a really bad day.

The Expansion Era (Sets 5–9)

  • Sets: Shimmering Skies, Reign of Jafar, Winterspell, and others.
  • The Math: This era introduced Locations, which shared the Rare+ slots with characters and items. While some feared this would “water down” the hits, the rates stayed remarkably steady at 5 Legendaries per box.
  • Note: The community noticed “clumping” in these sets—you’d often see two of the same Legendary in a single box more frequently than in the first set.

The Modern Era (Set 10+)

  • Sets: Fabled, Wilds Unknown, and beyond.
  • The Math: This is where the Epic and Iconic rarities changed the game.
    • Epic Cards: These show up about once or twice per box.
    • Iconic Cards: These are the new “holy grail.” They are much harder to find than Enchanteds, often requiring 15+ cases to see just one.
    • Legendary Consistency: To keep players happy with the new tiers, standard Legendaries became slightly more consistent, leaning closer to 6 per box in some cases.

Sealed Boxes vs. Individual Packs

Where you buy your packs matters because of how the factory packs them.

1. Booster Boxes (24 Packs)

This is the safest way to collect. Boxes are “balanced” at the factory. You are almost 100% guaranteed to find:

  • At least 12 Super Rares.
  • Between 4 and 6 Legendaries.
  • 1 or 2 Epic cards (in modern sets).
  • The Catch: An Enchanted is not guaranteed in every box. You only have a 25% chance of finding one in a single box.

2. Illumineer’s Troves (8 Packs)

Troves are the ultimate “luck test.” Because there are only 8 packs, the factory balancing doesn’t apply. You could hit two Legendaries and an Enchanted in one Trove (a “God Trove”), or you could get 8 packs with nothing but Rares.

3. Blister Sleeves (Single Packs)

Loose packs are completely random. Because they are often pulled from different boxes or master cases, they aren’t “seeded.” This makes them high-risk, but it’s the only way to beat the system and pull multiple Enchanteds from a small number of packs.

What is a “God Pack”?

Because of Lorcana’s slot system, you can hit a home run in three different ways in a single 12-card pack. Here is the hierarchy of “God Pack” pulls:

  • The Double Hit: Pulling two Legendaries in slots 10 and 11. (Happens about 1 in every 35 packs).
  • The Triple Hit: Pulling two Legendaries AND a foil Legendary in slot 12.
  • The Ultimate Pull: Pulling two Legendaries (Slots 10/11) and an Iconic or Enchanted (Slot 12). This is the rarest event in Lorcana and is worth celebrating.

From set number 9 (Fabled) you can even pull in a pack (which is crazy rare to happen), 2 legendary cards and 1 iconic all in one single pack!

Collector’s Pro-Tips

  1. Don’t chase specific Enchanteds: With the pool of Enchanted cards growing every set, your odds of pulling one specific character (like Elsa or Mickey) from a pack are nearly impossible. If you want a specific one, buy the single.
  2. Buy Sealed Cases for Enchanteds: If you’re hunting for that “rainbow hit,” buy a factory-sealed case of 4 boxes. While not a legal guarantee, the math for “1 Enchanted per 96 packs” is based on case distribution.
  3. The Foil Slot is the Key: Always check the very last card. Even if the rest of the pack was a “bust,” that 12th card can save the entire box.

Whether you’re a player looking for playsets to win your next tournament or a collector hunting for the next Iconic card, understanding these rates keeps you ahead of the game. Happy hunting!
