How the Underdog Keyword Works
The Underdog keyword is designed to help players make a comeback when they are behind in the game.
1. The Trigger
Underdog abilities only activate if you have less Lore than your opponent. If you are tied or winning, the ability does not work.
2. Strategic Use
Characters with Underdog often get powerful stat increases or cheaper play costs when you are trailing. This makes them perfect for “comeback” decks that start slow but finish strong.
